libasound2-data software package provides Configuration files and profiles for ALSA drivers, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libasound2-data
libasound2-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libasound2-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libasound2-data *
You will get with libasound2-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
